So, just a quick update… Last weekend Lexi didn’t feel the greatest, and we decided Monday morning to take her to the local ER because she was having more stomach pain than what I think is normal for a stomach bug.
Turns out, she had a ruptured appendix! They transferred us to Akron Children’s via ambulance and she had surgery Monday afternoon.
Since it ruptured and was pretty icky in there, we are on a boatload of antibiotics and our stay will be at least a week, so unfortunately she will miss all the Halloween festivities.
Luke is trying to juggle work, the other 3 kids, and the kitchen (we had the sink ripped out when this happened, so the kitchen is in shambles). Meanwhile, I’m living at the hospital.
She’s slowly getting better. 💜
