I say “quarantine”, because even though our social distancing started on Sunday, today we had to venture into the world. I had cookie money to deposit at the bank, and the girls still had their private karate lessons.
With grocery stores experiencing shortages, I’ve been more diligent about collecting eggs.
I’ve sold a few dozen, and planned a few meals that involve eggs. I’ve also planned to use the roosters we had butchered last year to make some soup!
My other main focus besides meal planning is cleaning the house. It was seriously neglected during cookie season. Yesterday we caught up on dishes and got the kitchen countertops cleaned. Today was sweeping, dusting and clearing out the living room, and of course, the neverending laundry.
