The “main” reason for this trip to Pennsylvania was to see the Pontiac Fieros at the car show in Carlisle. Luke has been a Fiero fan for longer than he’s known me, and now that he has a big shop he can work on his cars in, he wants to get more active with his Fieros. Unfortunately, not one of them was running well enough to take, so we made it a family vacation. So, are Saturday was filled with cars!
Our Sunday was was filled with a trip to Gettysburg. Luke and I hadn’t been there since our honeymoon in 2005, and although the monuments have stayed the same, there was a lot of change!
There is a new Gettysburg Welcome Center/Museum, filled with all kinds of artifacts. We spent a lot of time in there looking at everything (it was air conditioned), before heading out on our self guided tour.
If you are ever near the area, stop by and see something. There are so many things to discover, you’ll never see them in one trip anyway!
