West Virginia Family Reunion

4:14 pm | |

August seems to be the month for family reunions, especially at Mountwood Park in West Virginia. I’m pretty sure almost every pavilion was booked over the weekend for get togethers.

For us, it was an almost 2 1/2 hour drive to get there to hang with family for a bit, eat and play, and say goodbye. Every year we go, we spend time exploring the creek looking for interesting rocks. It seems every year Lilly finds a bigger piece of coal!

It's always fun to explore nature!
This year's big coal find!

The girls also spent some time playing on the playground before saying goodbye to Nana and Papaw. We’ll see them next month!

If you are ever near Mountwood Park, it’s worth a look. Lots of ATV and riding trails, peddle boats and kayak rentals, a WW2 Submarine Museum, a dog park, and so much more explore!

Until Next Time!
