We were up at midnight because a severe weather alert buzzed over the phone. We were under a tornado warning, and the sirens were going off.
It was bad enough that we got the girls and dogs to the basement. The wind was wild, hail was pinging off the windows, and the lightning was insane!
So far, there have been 3 confirmed tornadoes. We had minor tree damage, but Luke’s parents live 20 minutes Northeast of us, and they lost trees, power, and neighbors had roof damage.
My parents a mile South of us got a lot more hail, and lost power for a few hours, but overall, we all made it out OK!
