Day 41: Facing The Brave New World (Happy Arbor Day)

9:14 pm | |

First off, the moon is absolutely gorgeous. A thin crescent underneath of Venus following the setting Sun. A beautiful sunset to watch!

As for this New World thing, this was actually the first time I had to go somewhere and wear a face mask! Luke and I needed bloodwork done today because we have tele doctor appointments with our rheumatologist on Monday.

Since we were out in the next town over, we stopped at Lowe’s, and I got more bird feeders! I had the two jar feeders already, but needed a hook for them. The jar feeders are now in the backyard, the other feeders are in the front yard in between the 2 sets of feeders I already have!

For my exercise, I did another run today. Between that and shopping, I had a great step count today!

Run #13
Over 10K steps!

We also stopped at a food truck for dinner. It was a Korean Taqueria style, but Luke and the girls got burgers, hot dogs, and fries. I got a chicken bowl. Everything was super delicious, so if you’re local, look up Korasada – Korean BBQ and Taqueria on Facebook to see where they are parked next!

Yum!

When we got home, it officially marked the start of Luke’s vacation. Unfortunately for the house, his main focus is his Fiero down in the shop, but rain is in the forecast most of the week, so he wanted to fix the gutters on the shop, so hopefully less water drains in under the door.

Gutter work!

Stay safe! ☄🌟
