We had a terribly high heat index yesterday, leading up to a line of severe storms late last night. Many people got beautiful shots of a double rainbow and lightning, but we just weren’t in the position for that by the time the storm passed us. Still, the sky was awesome, and it cooled off from the 90s to the high 60s!
In other news, my college class is in full swing. I had a zoom meet and greet Monday night to go over the class. This week is chapters 1 and 2, which cover Prehistory, Ancient Mesopotamia, and Ancient Egypt.
My first discussion board question for attendance is due tomorrow night, and next week will be my first exam! 😳 I know my anxiety has me overthinking things, because we can use the book on exams, but I’m still rereading chapters and taking notes. My anxiety is 10x worse than it was 15 years ago in college, so this is going to be rough.
