A part of our homeschooling journey is incorporating nature and science. We are very much into Earth Science, Astronomy, Animals, and preserving the Earth.

We don’t seem to have owls that get close to our house, but when the girls took care of my Aunt’s dog over the 4th of July, we got to see the Barred Owls that hang out at her place!

We also looked for the partial penumbral lunar eclipse. We didn’t really notice a darkening, but it was a gorgeous full moon!

Last night, we had the chance to see comet NEOWISE again! It’s such a breathtaking sight!

We also have some raccoons hanging around our front yard!

They splashed in the cat water and ate all my birdseed.

It’s amazing to live in the country, which affords us many opportunities to explore nature and space!

Stay safe! ☄🌟
