Cats, WW, and Yard Sales… Oh My!

To say life is busy is an understatement. The kitchen is still in pieces, I’m working 3 days a week, Luke’s work is super busy, and we are just trying to stay on top of schoolwork and Girl Scouts and animals!

One thing that has suffered is my diet. I haven’t been tracking it completely these past couple of weeks, and despite a fair number of weekly steps, I gained a touch, so it’s restart day!

See, not too bad for my bum feet! Only 17,000 less than a 10K per day goal.

I’ve decided to try some frozen meals. Not only are they a nice variety, but they are portioned, which helps me out!

The chicken teriyaki scanned as 6pts (it has rice), but the other 2 scanned as 1pt.

My biggest problem is eating out. For instance, we traveled to the next town over and brought home Papa John’s. We don’t have it in our town. This was dessert!

I get 25 points in a day right now… this was not a good choice.

We also got the kitties to the vet for a checkup and first shots! Bitty goes back next month to get spayed. She had 4 boys! They were 8wks, 1 day old at the appointment.

Born August 9th…

Stanley – (B&W) 2lbs 4 oz
Raven – (Black) 2lbs 6 oz – belly button hernia
Tom – (Gray) 2lbs 2 oz
Belsinif – (Black with white neck patch) 2lbs 6 oz

Mama Bitty was 7.69lbs.

We have also been busy decluttering the house. Our Girl Scout troop got special permission to use our local community’s yard sale weekend as a fundraiser, so we gathered a bunch of stuff and did donation pricing. Across two 6 hour days, we fundraised $168.50. This money will go towards our woodworking badge!

Stay safe! ☄🌟
